The Wiener Holocaust Library is one of the world’s leading and most extensive archives on the Holocaust, the Nazi era and genocide. The Library’s unique collection of over one million items includes published and unpublished works, press cuttings, photographs and eyewitness testimony.
The first part of the visit will be a Tour of the Exhibition space, the Wolfson Reading Room and the basement archives. The tour will include an introduction to the history of the Library and the Wiener family story. Following this, the group will be shown some fascinating historical documents from our Collection and have the chance to see inside our Archive stores.
The second part of the visit will be with the Library’s Collections Team who will offer an insight into our Collections practice, new acquisitions, digitisation and development. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about our vast Collections.
Accessibility: Lift access throughout. Please note there are some tight/small spaces down in the archive.
Bookings for visits are open to members of the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries only.

Cancellations received less than three working days before the event will be charged a £15 cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, £25 will be charged.
