Visit to RHS Wisley library [TG2v/RHS Wisley]
RHS Libraries hold the world’s finest collection of books and printed materials on gardening and outstanding collections of archives, photography and botanical art. Whether you are a beginner gardener or an expert, the RHS Libraries have everything you need to read, learn and grow.
The purpose-built library at RHS Wisley houses books, journals, archives and artworks. From rare historic treasures to cutting-edge scientific research, children’s books to the latest gardening magazines – we have something of interest for every gardener.
After walking through the garden to the Hilltop building, you can enjoy a Behind The Scenes tour of the Wisley Library as well as viewing some of the Treasures from our horticultural collection dating back to the 1500s.
Public transport is available from Woking Station via the shuttle bus to Wisley from the train station. Timetable here (please be aware of the lunchtime break in the service).
