Visit to HMP Wandsworth Library [TG2v/Wandsworth]
*REGISTRATION FOR THIS VISIT HAS NOW CLOSED. Please contact cpd25@london.ac.uk with any queries*
cpd25 is pleased to offer a tour of the library at HMP Wandsworth followed by questions, plus a possible tour of the prison museum.
As it’s a large prison, the tour will involve quite a lot of walking, plus quite a lot of steps. There is wheelchair access but only to certain areas and not up to the library.
Organisers will need to complete an intent to visit form for all attendees so full names as they appear on the photographic ID attendees intend to use will need to be provided. There is a strict ‘no photographic ID, no entry’ policy. Anyone that has previously spent time in prison will not be permitted access.
No electronic gadgets will be permitted on the tour but lockers will be provided. Everyone will be subject to a bag search on entry, a bit similar to an airport.
