A chance to visit the library at the Horniman Museum and Gardens and learn about its collection, the recent history of the library and how it interacts with the Horniman archive. A chance to see some of the treasures of the library collection including the Anna Atkins cyanotypes, Philip Gosse scrapbooks, and natural history books from the original Horniman collection.
Visit would take place at the CUE building on the Horniman Museum site which is right next to the museum itself (which is free to enter) and situated in the Museum’s 16 acres of gardens with stunning views across London

Bookings for visits are free of charge but are open to members of the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries only.

If subsequent to booking a place on a cpd25 visit you find that you are unable to attend, we ask that you let us know this as soon as possible. Cancellations received less than three working days before the event will be charged a £15 cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, £25 will be charged.
