Communicate, connect, consult, collaborate and share.
In this changing economic environment, service point managers are increasingly expected to deliver quality services with fewer resources. This event will focus on sharing best practices from practitioners who manage day-to-day front line services. The focus of the day will be on how managers implement strategic ideas from the top and translate them into operational practices. The day will enable participants to connect and network with colleagues as well as sharing their experiences of managing front line Library services.
Through a series of presentations, participants will be introduced to best practices in three university libraries. Three library managers will share their experiences of managing front line library services and staff. The key themes will range from moving to a brand new library, value engineering and refurbishing in short period.
This event is designed for Library supervisors, Campus Library managers and front desk managers.
