LMN is pleased to invite you to the above event to find out the current issues around the new standards-based architecture for access and identity management called Shibboleth. Two LMN institutions will present an up-to-date state of where shibboleth is heading and a commercial overview from Salford Technologies (Sun-Novell) will cast light upon the the newest standard in encoded data exchange, XACML (eXtensible Access Control Markup Language). Finally, LMN will host a debate with representatives from UKERNA, JISC plus our LMN speakers on what happens if you choose not to do anything about implementation of Shibboleth.
