cpd25 are pleased to offer the unique opportunity to visit Oxford Brookes Headington Library for a tour, a talk about the University and its libraries, and the chance to share experiences with the library staff working in similar roles to your own.
This is aimed at staff across all levels in cpd25 member libraries and will take place at the Headington Library on the Gipsy Lane campus.
This is the largest library in the university, and it supports the following Schools: Arts and Humanities; Built Environment; Health and Social Care; Life Sciences; Social Sciences and Law.

Helen will talk about:
• the University and the place of Learning Resources in the organisation
• future plans within the University that will impact on the Library

In her session Jan will cover:
• how the Library is organised
• current projects and issues

13.30 and 14.15: choose 2 activities from the following:

We will try to match people to their roles and interests as closely as we can, dependent upon staff availability on the day.
Booking info:
Transport via the Oxford tube coach service (100 minutes door to door), lunch and refreshments are included in the price of £30 a head for cpd25 members.

Once a place is booked, the cpd25 Administrator will liase directly with you to establish the parts of the library that you are most interested in seeing.
Please note that there are limited places available for this event. Cancellations less than one week before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, the full fee will be charged.
