Visit to the Francis Crick Institute [TG1v/Crick]
The Francis Crick Institute is dedicated to understanding the fundamental biology underlying health and disease, working to understand why disease develops and to translate discoveries into new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, infections and neurodegenerative diseases.
This visit will include a talk about the Crick and LIS at the Crick, given by Frank Norman, Head of Library and Information Services, followed by a tour of the building.
