Twitter: @cpd25_M25 #cpd25
This workshop is part of the cpd25 Aspects programme, aimed at library staff looking to acquire additional skills and knowledge or staff working towards Chartership.
This workshop offers insight from specialist librarians from different non-academic sectors of the library world such as the British Library (our UK national library), a private school library, government department library and public library. These professionals will share their experience of working in specialist libraries and how they have developed their careers to reach their current positions.
Each speaker will share their reflections on the challenges and rewards involved in their roles and professional development generally. Finally there will be a panel discussion and Q&A session which will aim to draw conclusions and lessons that can be learned from the groups collective experiences.
