Shared Services Event [Event Ref. No. TG3/SSE]
Shared services offer libraries the opportunity to pool resources and expertise, and to take advantage of economies of scale in the delivery of services and resources. But what constitutes a shared service? How are potential shared services identified, developed, implemented and evaluated? What can go wrong?
This half-day event draws together a number of speakers from a mix of institutions and organisations, each with first-hand experience of planning, negotiating, developing and delivering shared services to meet the needs of their users or the sector as a whole. There will be the opportunity for participants to discuss issues and concerns around shared services with colleagues, and to ask questions of our expert panel of speakers.
