Information Skills for Library Staff : Using VLEs and other electronic methods, novel approaches, theory and examples from practitioners [Event Ref. No. TG5/ISLS]
With new ways of delivering enquiry and user support services, it is necessary for all library staff to have the knowledge and confidence to handle a wide range of enquiries.
This session explores some novel methods of developing library staff information skills using interactive techniques, VLE modules and distance learning. The day will take a practical approach with examples from trainees and practitioners.
This event is aimed at library managers and supervisors.
