cpd25: Negotiation Skills
1st December 2006
Hardy Room, London Mathmatical Society
http://www.lms.ac.uk/contact/roombook.html
Would you like to develop or review your negotiation skills? If so this might be a useful course for you. All of us need to be able to negotiate effectively with a whole range of contacts. These might include our peers, our colleagues, our managers, our staff, academics and external suppliers. Ash Charlton, who in previous years has run the very successful and popular CPD25 Emotional Intelligence workshop, will be delivering the new Negotiation Skills workshop during which you will:
• raise your awareness of what is meant by ‘negotiation’ and what the desirable outcomes of successful negotiation might be
• gain practical skills in clear communication during negotiation to avoid conflict
• learn how to manage conflict successfully and achieve win/win outcomes.
This one day workshop is suitable for all staff who need to be able to negotiate successfully with a range of people in their jobs.
