CILIP mentoring course with Carol Campbell-Hayes and Margaret Watson

CILIP Mentoring Workshop Monday 30th January 2006: 9.30am – 4.30pm Lee Manuscript Room, Senate House Library Facilitators: Carol Campbell-Hayes and Margaret Watson CPD25 is pleased to offer a FREE one-day workshop facilitated by two experienced facilitators on the basics of mentoring. During the morning the workshop will cover key mentoring skills and during the afternoon it will explore how the new CILIP Mentoring Scheme will operate in theory and practice. This practical and interactive course is suitable for all CILIP members who have recently registered as CILIP mentors or are thinking of registering. Do come along and find out more about mentoring skills and the new CILIP Mentoring Scheme. To make the most of the day, registered participants are encouraged to undertake a small amount of work before you attend (see separate sheet). CILIP members who have previously attended a course on mentoring skills may attend the afternoon session only (2.00pm – 4.30pm) to explore the elements of the CILIP Mentoring Scheme. Please indicate this afternoon preference when booking your place. Cost is FREE for CPD25 members. Refreshments will be provided in the morning and afternoon, but lunch is not available. An hour is allocated for the lunch break and participants are encouraged to bring their own packed lunch.
