Visit to the House of Commons[TG1v/HC] – Visit now full
*THIS VISIT IS NOW FULL AND A WAITING LIST IS AVAILABLE*
Join us for an exclusive tour of the House of Commons and House of Lords Libraries, as well as a tour of the historic Westminster Palace. This tour offers a deep insight into British democracy and legislative history. You will be able to walk through the revered halls of these libraries, surrounded by a wealth of knowledge and heritage, including extensive collections of parliamentary records, legal texts, and historical documents. The atmosphere is both scholarly and reverent, reflecting the longstanding traditions of governance and debate. The tour of Westminster Palace further enriches this experience as visitors explore the grand corridors and chambers where momentous decisions shaping the nation’s future are made.
Accessibility: It would be useful to know if attendees have any accessibility requirements beforehand, as the palace is a large building with many steps, so advanced warning that an alternative route is needed would be helpful – please include any requirements on your booking form, or email cpd25@london.ac.uk.
Bookings for visits are open to members of the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries only.
