Visit to the UCL Student Centre[TG4v/UCL]
Join us for an exclusive tour of the UCL Student Centre – a state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance the student experience. Opened in 2019, the UCL Student Centre is located in the heart of UCL’s Bloomsbury campus and boosts 1,000 study spaces over eight levels catering for a variety of learning preferences – from quiet, individual study to dynamic, collaborative work areas. Designed by Nicholas Hare Architects and built by Mace, the Centre is a flagship for sustainability and achieved BREEAM ‘Outstanding’, the highest measure of a building’s environmental, social and economic impact. The tour will also include a visit to the rooftop terrace with stunning views of London, an optional stop to the popular student café, and showcases of contemporary art, including a sculpture by Turner Prize-winning artist Rachel Whiteread.

Bookings for visits are open to members of the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries only.

If subsequent to booking a place on a cpd25 visit you find that you are unable to attend, we ask that you let us know this as soon as possible.
Cancellations received less than three working days before the event will be charged a £15 cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, £25 will be charged.
Please note that advance booking is required, you may be turned away on the day if you do not reserve your place in advance.
