ASPECTS 1: The GLAM sector: what can we learn from Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums [TG1/ASPECTS1_GLAM]
This workshop is part of the cpd25 Aspects programme, aimed at library staff looking to acquire additional skills and knowledge or staff working towards Chartership.
This workshop is designed to share and celebrate the successes and diversity of four key cultural organisations and the lessons we can learn from each other, in terms of service relevance, modernisation, professional practices and audience engagement.

Mia Ridge (Digital Curator, Western Heritage Collection, British Library): ‘Open Cultural Data: an overview of open access data in the GLAM Sector.’
Mura Ghosh (Research Librarian, Psychology & Social Sciences, Senate House Library, University of London): ‘Psychology collections and resources in London’
Julie Key & Mandy Watson (Literature Search Specialists, Royal College of Nursing Library and Archives Service): ‘“Are we there yet?” pluses, pitfalls and surprises in reviewing a service: the literature search service for staff and members at the Royal College of Nursing Library.’
Aimee Taylor (Engagement and Learning Manager, London Metropolitan Archive): ‘Engagement and learning at the London Metropolitan Archive.’

- This session is virtual and will run via Zoom. Once your booking has been confirmed, joining instructions will be emailed the day before the event.

Cancellations less than one week before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, the full fee will be charged.
